My Own "F" Words
Today I asked my son what he wanted for dinner. He happily exclaimed, “chicken nuggets!” which was what I was hoping for. “And tater tots!” my daughter added – done and done. I preheated the oven and started making myself a salad as my daughter told me I’m the best cook ever (ha!). Take that
The world has slowed down by choice and by force. It’s a scary time of uncertainty and worry. I remember weeks ago as whispers started and the panic buying started grabbing a pack of toilet paper from Costco and two cases of water after seeing a line of people dragging away carts and pallets full.
A wonderful teacher I had in elementary school made a simple post that made a big impact. Teachers have been like that for me in my life, small lessons with big impact. The gist of the post spoke on how you will never be so loved as you are now, that one day your children
